Treasures
Hear the Word of the Lord,
Never to be ignored;
For the days are coming,
As many succumbing.
The day when in your place,
You will feel a disgrace;
Being taken away,
Since you were led astray.
There will be nothing left,
As though it was a theft;
That came in through the night,
And darkness took your sight.
Things may come and may go,
But the thing you should know;
The Word remains the same,
As I always proclaim.
Behold the days are nigh,
To look up in the sky;
Knowing the Word is true,
And Christ comes for the few.
Grass withers flowers fade,
But no worry if saved;
The Word stands forever,
And not will it sever.
For the Word remains good,
Peace and truth as it should;
Secured and will forgive,
For as long as we live.
