Crumbling Like The Sand

Walk on water
he says,
I command you.
Do it,
if you can...
see if you can
be the better one
the righteous woman, the righteous man.
But being that,
know how you stand
on infirm ground
on shifting sands.
Here there are earthquakes.
Here there are
changing times
and changing minds.
You/we will all get it in the end.
The blind will follow the blind.
And worry about being left behind.
Here prophetic tongues are twisty-tied.
Here purchased prophecy panders lies.
Listen only to the words
inside your head.
They will make better counsel.
Yield to them instead.
And be comforted
when you can.
the true kingdom is within you and,
false kingdoms will always crumble
in the sand.
