For Not Believing In Words

my destiny may be
perpetual poetic twilight...

i will never be famous
paid for my words
these days words are cheap
often meaningless
texted in staccato style
i'll stick with the past
try to make older days last
on pages
for awhile
and live with words
when words equaled
when words made
moving pictures
in my head
when words meant
of in-definitions
and subtexts
and plots
you can have the whole lot
of your fine new poli-words
and your fine new glossy world
perhaps like some poets i'm a little insane
believing in both the sacred and profane
and that there's magic and stardust
in every word
and the world has become
truly tragically absurd
for not believing
in words.

I was inspired to write this VIA feedback I was giving and given. Thank you, Mr. Anonymous.
Font in Times New Roman...purely symbolic.
