Practical Precepts at Work
Please show your appreciation,
And pray asking supplication;
For your supervisors and peers,
For what they do in their careers.
Show them your love with high regards,
In your thoughts when they get rewards;
Because of the work they are doing,
On practical paths pursuing.
So live in peace with each other,
Colleagues as sister and brother;
Showing them just how to live right,
While you remain in the light.
Cheer them up with encouragement,
When they are down with discontent;
When discouraged then they are weak,
Direct them to where that they must seek.
Be patient when they are upset,
Help them through when they are in debt;
And willing with a helping hand,
When one is stuck in sinking sand.
Make sure no one pays back for wrong,
Which makes agony to prolong;
Instead try to do what is good,
In treating others as you should.
So always be joyful and pray,
Show them how to trust and obey;
Rather than sinful desire,
Light up the spiritual fire.
