 My Life In Words

Pages Of Time

The pages of time will keep on turning,
even though we want to stay in this moment...
Forever changing with the slight breeze
that is Gods sent...

One day an innocent child, the next day
a teenager with her first car...
Yet another page turns and we're the adult,
living our childs dreams, hoping to go far...

When will it end? we never know,
our eyes focused on life...
One day we're that child with dreams,
the next day we're someone's wife...

The pages of time, they keep on turning,
our hearts on fire,
They keep on yearning...
Love will find it's way as another page is turned,
we must keep our bridges
unburned...

Cause, when our pages all run out,
and the last page is read...
All our dreams are of the yesterdays
and we will walk where only angels tread...
