 Sailing The Bounding Main

It has always been a dream of mine to sail the open sea
But I never could figure how to take my television with me.
Oh to be alone in a sailing rig out on the bounding main
With my trusty computer by my side to keep me entertained....

The feel of salt spray in my face and the sea smell in the air
Lying in the sun, watching football games without a care
I could fish in the afternoons when only soap operas are on
And there I would be on the satin sea so quiet and alone.....

There are drawbacks of course as waves bounce the boat
I might spill my pink lemonade all over my cashmere coat
But it would be worth all these hardships to be upon the sea
Listening to faraway exotic lands calling out, beckoning me....

I should cash in my Cruise Line ticket and rent myself a skiff
But how would I stretch my legs, they would go a little stiff
And there would be no room for shuffleboard or ANY game
Guess I'm stuck this year with the Cruiseliner, what a shame....
