In Closure
In time, our time it shall come
Today maybe, a better day
Thoughts never leave us alone
They have become evermore the present
Of the past
It brings comfort to mourning and a
passing smile will make its home for the moment
Kodak or otherwise
Sifting through photo albums, life lived in a better time
A better place, still frames of mind that keep
Long the road ahead, but forge we must
At ones pace, in our hearts, small steps beating the path
Another walk in the garden of yesterdays
In thought, in prayer, in closure
We miss you mom, and I no less
