The Power of Change
Most people react with some fear and tread with such caution
Whenever that word change touted or mentioned
So they try somehow to find any argument, that is sound
That could be used when something in the process goes wrong.
Could it be the because it may be something new and virtually unknown
That this reason for such an objection is nurtures and honed
Or they perhaps thought that it very hard word to do
If they have to learn or are called upon to do something new.
As always it is hard for some to make any form of detachment
From those experiences to which they have formed an attachment
So will put themselves through all forms of mental anguish
Instead of conforming, and looking for new bonds to establish.
Then some get locked in themselves and let willingly abide
That feeling of insecurity, fueled by some form of fool's pride
And what will add to that feeling of inferiority, and trepidation
If they ate to be taught something by someone from a much younger generation.
Then there is that ego which may keep some so transfixed
Blinded by that adage “that you can't teach an old dog new tricks.”
Not want to in any area of that thinking amend or even append
Perhaps preferring to struggle in their own mental quicksand.
Then many never gave any thought not for any instance
Being so myopic and get burdened by arrogance
But when that realization, of being left behind
That thought of change most certainly enters the mind.
There is no discounting that great force generated by change
It has no defined boundaries so has an exponential range
So if you want to be on par with your competitor
Make change a very necessary and ever present armor.
