People get possessed
By their inner
Kitty cat.

The one that yawns
Finds a nice
Sunbeam
And looks so
Damn cute
When they
Are asleep
But are holy
Terrors
When they are
Awake?
Aloof one second
Then curling
Into a ball on
Your lap
The next
Second.
On and off.
Full tilt
And dead stop?
Some are jumpy
Skiddish…
And even though
You know they
Are people
They could have
Fooled you
By the way
They were purring
Two seconds
Ago…
