step over the breaks -
smile and be happy
and cover the aches...
Most like the smoothness -
the easy - the less -
the comfort - the cosy
and hate all the mess...
Tiptoe through the conflict -
step over the sharp -
the queries - the questions -
the left field remark...
Most like the framework -
the certain - the sure -
the purpose - the meaning
behind a closed door...
Tiptoe through the open -
creep straight ahead -
step over the different
and keep down your head...
Most like the pathway -
the landmark - the show -
the maps and the markings -
to know where to go...
Tiptoe through the learning -
step over the new -
walk by the sameness -
enjoy the old view...
Most like the answers -
the listed - the told -
the rote and the rhetoric -
the feel of the fold...
