Title of two recent Streams in the Desert devotions
Classics insights bring hope through life situations
God leads softly we have not passed this way before
When the timing is not right, He will shut the door
I continue to see these truths in my job search journey
There is real comfort knowing God is always with me
Following are some recent examples I share with you
I pray you will be strengthened along your journey too
Cobra premium, due to plan switch, was to increase in May
But new amount is slightly less per mail notice the other day
I called certain I owed for June, statement said only July due
Two payments posted for May, she verified I was current too
Received explanation of benefits statement from my May fall
The second test for leg ultrasound, insurance paid 100% in full
Claim for initial x-ray is pending for routine questions by mail
I know God will resolve those issues, His plan always prevails
Last Thursday while I was at new agency for initial interview
I had a call from resume submitted, left voice mail for him too
That evening another call where I had applied for in purchasing
It would remain part-time, with no benefits ever to be issuing
Thursday morning, I retook the 10-key test and greatly improved
I backspaced to fix errors and lost time keeping pace on the move
To pass, typing 24 sets of numbers, I only have 40-50 seconds total
Block chart is harder to focus in columns and rows for me I know
You don't see the time that has lapsed or final results until the end
By doing it at home, I can print out exact numbers and practice again
The first test, I did 112 kpm or 6,700 kph in 1 minute 15 seconds time
This one, I did 132 or 7,900, below minimum, but 58 seconds refined
I found a free online clock I have already started to use with a bell
Now I am going to create a block chart with the numbers as well
Then I will continue to work on accuracy while keeping my speed
With God's help, timer and keying on blank page, I can do it indeed
I am including a link to the devotions below and song lyrics in part
Composed when her husband had a brain tumor, touched my heart
I will look back someday and be able to see His hand more clearly
Daily I already experience His unfathomable blessings and mercy

Blessings by Laura Story (chorus only)
Cause what if Your blessings come through raindrops
What if Your healing comes through tears
What if a thousand sleepless nights
Are what it takes to know You're near
And what if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise
