You will wish Time comes and goes as easily as the morning dew Pain stings your existence for what sometimes feels an eternity Memory serves a purpose sometimes unwanted You left me here alone to raise our children I have spent many nights crying over you The brave face Ive put on has helped to see me through It was suppose to be forever another broken promise I gave to you my everything and now must find my way I am the one you forgot your memory is that i want to forget I was never innocent you knew the darkness in my past How wonderful the dream the fantasies happiness an illusion i chased True to myself forgetting everything else You turned and walked away I am stronger now I am what you will wish for again one day Wish upon the midnight sky wait for my return Your intent unclear your path a blur Speak my name into the night and wish i would once again fight For you i gave my everything for me you sneered You walked away you said forever and now its getting to be to late What will you do when once again you decide you want me to Who will you turn to when your the one with tear filled eyes I'm getting stronger each and every day I'm starting to see its best i just walk away Wanting you so badly is a feeling that's starting to fade Yes i miss our times the laughs we once shared But looking back now i see you never really cared You will wish for me one night under the shining moon one night i will be wrapped safe and warm in anther's arms you will cry the same tears i have wondering what went wrong When you are faced with the decisions you have done only harm I am still a little weak in hoping you will see Your desperation to conceal the truth is apparent to me I am done hurting with your petty games Now its time to wait for the day when you will wish Wish for what you never should have thrown away Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
