A Frozen Dinner
It's Tuesday again
My day off
And company has nothing to lend,
Occupied has my friends
I sit there with a beer held inside my hand
Flickering through channels
Disappears then appears my shadow
It seems to be the only thing with me
Never thought I'd be so lonely
It seems things can't get worse
My cold beer turns warm
Increasing my thirst
I slouch
On a couch
In my mind hunger comes first
No life
No wife
How can I feel like a winner?
When every Tuesday comes
I am eating frozen dinners
