Thank you Mom and Dad for now I know what you felt
To have all your children home at once together
In the exact same time and space
Gift wrapped and tied together as a family with love
Reminds me of when our two sons were much younger
All those dear and precious memories enter the mind
Thank you Mom and Dad for the goodness you poured into me
This goodness has spread all around
Our family, our tree firmly rooted
Branches have stretched, grown, and reached high
Almost touching the sky
Happy to see them return home
But sad to see them leave
I won't think about tomorrow
For this moment I will always remember

*Parents are proud to have their children come home. Time flies. Enjoy the years they are with you. Like birds leave the nest your children will leave too.
