*`LONELY IS THE WIND`*

Lonely is the wind traveling far and wide
From across the ocean to the Great Divide
Always moving in different moods
From prairie's flat to the tallest of woods

Lonely is the wind that travels slow
At times picking up speed mainly for show
On wintry days stealing your hat and coat
Trying to keep debris and dust afloat

Forever traveling never ever being free
Powered at times, but mostly lonely as can be
Petals in the wind brings your love to me
As I forever wait in the lonely wind of the sea!
