 ~REFLECTING MOMENTS~

PRISONER

Smoldering cylinder ashtray
a smoke ring hangs wrinkled
second hand conversations

Gallery of spent time
black and white room
Colors used long ago

Animated behind walls
fly and human greet
upon the windowsills

Ragged clothing rests
as well forgotten you
tapestry torn into two

Channeling another life
within soap opera reruns
that television is ancient

Layers of dreams come alive
with pink neon signs flashing
"walk this world courageously"

Trying to remember who I am
suspended inside a crystal
I am that transparent prism
