Authentic Words
Remember the Word that God gave,
Freeing you as the sinful slave;
For through it the Lord gives me hope,
As it makes me able to cope.
It is comfort in misery,
Through insults and vulgarity;
And all the physical abuse,
That the disgusting can produce.
The promise of God gave new life,
Even within the midst of strife;
That no one could ever compare,
With the love that the Lord does share.
Those people with an attitude,
Are really arrogant and rude;
Find it funny as they go mock,
With cruel gossip while they squawk.
Still I have not yet turned away,
From His teachings or gone astray;
For I will continue to view,
In them as a righteous value.
I am still burning with anger,
A girl with sexual hunger;
And nothing but a lust within,
Called my devotion as a sin.
I told her get away from me,
Where she will spend eternity;
The demise of her desire,
To cast in the lake of fire
