Diminishing Contact
This situation should cause many to think a bit
Especially when they have time to pay a friend a visit
As they made efforts to communicate, or small talk
This effort would have been better served taking a walk.
Imagine there you are seeing advice; by engage them in a conversation
But it's quite obvious; you are very insignificant compared with the television
So the only thing left would be to bid them adieu
And make that effort, to find something else to pursue
Being human at another friend's house decided to make a stop
But it was almost impossible to tear them away from the laptop
Sitting there focused on the keyboard and screen so intensely
Indicating quite clearly; that there isn't time for company.
Who could remember that day, on arriving home?
A sibling is carrying on a conversation on the phone
Those days could be considered one of such comparative ease
As the cell-phone, is has many of us on bending knees.
It is showing quite clearly, that this technological revolution
It causing the death to those personal contact and conversation
AS one can see the level of intensity, that is being caused already
Because people pass you, attention focused on their Black Berry.
It is very hurting to learn of a broken relation
But even demeaning when it's by that mobile communication
We should appreciate that there is a place for technology
But must not let it control our life so completely.
