Race
What can create that air of uneasiness and some stress?
Is when issues related to race matters is being addressed?
As people are subjected to a form of compartmentalization
Based on skin tone, even hair texture, and hemispheric location.
Perhaps this broad topic of race and its nature
Can be considered a factor in that product of culture
Where people are painted in a sort of virtual picture
Applying various shades mentally, to be the divider
Take a group of various children in a group
They obvious by their actions, gave race the boot
It only when they are subjected to their culture
This teaching will make them start to differ.
Those with a lighter skin and having straight hair
Is considered to be white, this is quite clear
But what about being dark, and hair just as straight
The classification most certainly would be a subject of much debate.
Then a person has a black and white parent
Would be considered black, that is quite apparent
But have they ever taken a look at the situation objectively
Bearing in mind the roots and branches of the genetic tree.
How often many of those oriental people
Their annoyance is often quite visible
When people, in ignorance presume they are from a certain region
Why did they not take time to ask the appropriate question?
That talks of race and by extension its hybrid racism
Will always be one troubling and inveterate problem
Even now more races are now relating and interbreeding
There is still that subtle hand of culture intervening.
