Gently, Gently
Gently, gently as I row
As I linger here below
Feel god's whisper in my ear
Feel the tickle - know he's near
Feel the sunshine on my face
Feel my heartbeat - love the pace
Know he's watching from above
Feel his presence - feel his love
Watch the ripples gently surge
Feel the drizzles - feel the merge
Know the beauty of the day
Feel the moment - feel the play
Then the rain falls strong and fast
Water rushes - waves rip past
Feel the wind - feel the force
Fight the waves - to keep on course
Thunder - lightning - fierce and full
Turning - teasing - feel the pull
Fainting - falling - wet and chill
Feel the gushing - hear the shrill
Loudly, loudly as I cry
As I scream and wonder why
Feel no whisper in my ear
Feel no caring - feel no cheer
Sinking, sinking in the deep
I pray the lord my soul to keep
