From the Heart Through the Pen

Inside Looking Out

If she were aware of these thoughts...

She may not be the first
Would love for her to be the last
To lay by my side
Waiting for Karma to appear
The moment for which I thirst
The place I go to get lost
Question is...what will be the cost

She called me beautiful
I called her unique
I needed music
She presented her melody
No wonder she's hoarse
For the first time I realized
I'd no longer be lonely

Stupid = me
Went to check my mail
Caught by Cupids baby
Picked my pocket clean
Distracted by that luminous gleam
Now I'm stuck looking at reality
From inside of this dream
