Another door God closed yesterday
From an interview I had on Monday
Grateful the company sent an email
Thanking me for my interest overall
The position was for accounts payable
Some of purchasing is very comparable
They saw strong areas in my background
But wanted skills and experience all around
Earlier before I knew the door would be closed
One of my agencies called with a job to disclose
Caught off-guard I did not write down information
Data entry temp to hire I agreed per her discussion
She called back saying the hours were from 11 to 7
Plus in their busy times, also some Saturdays even
I hesitated, but she kept on encouraging the matter
Once again I said okay, but changed my mind later
The position sounded more demographic in nature
It would be a job but not my first choice for sure
I know God has something much better in store
He will reveal in His time through an open door
Last night I sent her an email with issues to address
Conflict with schedule this Fall and pay was less
Unknown phone load with admin responsibility
I sensed it was best to decline the job opportunity
She had emailed me the standard assessment tests
10-key results with too many errors I will confess
I trust she will understand the reasons I declined
Asked her for future positions to keep me in mind
