Fire in the Bones
I call on you in front of Christ,
Who will judge you in whence enticed;
As He will all living and dead,
Some are joyful and others dread.
For Jesus will return to rule,
His enemies as a footstool;
That is why do not hesitate,
And be getting your life on straight.
Go and put fire in your bones,
So you can confess as to atone;
Be ready to go spread the Word,
Loudly for all of it be heard.
Whether or not the time is right,
Tell everyone of the light;
Warn people of all their mistakes,
And the way how each one forsakes.
Have patience within your outreach,
Encouraging them as you preach;
That they see the errors of their ways,
Changing direction how each strays.
The time has come no one listens,
But enticed how money glistens;
As they follow their desire,
Tempted by their sparkly fire.
They listen what they want to hear,
And for God they no longer fear;
So they rather would be uncouth,
Than be able to hear the truth.
