CLOSE TO FLYING


 
  
  




Sailing

The sun glistening like diamonds on the rolling waves
Cool spray moist against my skin
Breathing in the sweet smell of the blue sea

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The sound of wind in the bellowing sails
The taste of salt on my tongue
My whole body is alive with the pleasure          
of  being so close to flying

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Seagulls swooping down for crusts of bread tossed to them
What a wonderful day to be alive
It's a great God who created this
