 You Don't Exist
It's 3am & I can't sleep
I'm staring at your old photographs
Wearing your old shirt with a box on the floor
I can still sense your presence
It's driving my crazy that you're not here
You've moved on, but I'm still stuck
Stuck in this place of misery & hurt
While you're out & about as if nothing ever happened
Maybe it's time to put you to rest
Erase every memory of you so I can move on
Maybe I'll burn every one of your photos
& this old t-shirt, rip it to shreds
No more tears will I cry for you
No more pain will I feel
Tomorrow will come & I will be free
Free from your pain, misery, & hurt
I will finally be happy
& you won't exist
