The sea crashes down on the sharp edged rocks,
I feel it running through my shoes into my socks.
The sunshine rays lay a thick blanket on the sand.
I pick up a small heap and let it run free from my hands.
Lifeless bodies of crabs tell tales of travel and terror,
The shells on the shore show sea life is trial and error.
Footprints in the sand show a million paths people take,
Life is like the sea; always fast and awake.
For a quick moment it's lovely to just admire,
This beautiful scene that is like a silent choir,
One of natural beauty made not by mankind,
But a deep secret nature made that time left behind.
