Dragonfly In An Empty Coke Bottle
I yell – I sing,
I shout to be free.
Trapped inside –
My broken wings…
Unvalued dreams….
Imprisoned emptiness
I look through this,
You escaped to be free,
But you forgot to take me.
My heart, like a coke bottle,
Once filled with a sweet drink.
Words that fed the soul,
Down -it began to sink.
I might die in this glass,
But perhaps it will break –
If it does, I’d fly and escape.
I am too weak to break this glass,
Somebody come and free my past.
