Oh My Sweet Love
ev'ry part of me aches for you,
i do the best i can till brought above
to keep making you proud of me too.
But i'm only human you see
and i need your physical touch,
without your arms to really hold me
i'll stay lost oh so much.
I'm so proud of you please know
you always got me thru when....
times were hard,
of my pain i will never let go
you left heartprints....
all thru the house and yard.
In fact they're everywhere i've stepped
and every time my heart shall beat,
with all the tears i've wept
it's proof that without you here....
i shall continue to admit defeat.
I've done everything short of suicide
to get there faster,
but then whose arms....
would greet me with pride
certainly not those of God The Master.
Without guilt i can't eat,live or sleep
cause you're not with me 2share so dear,
but then into my dreams you creep
telling me The Lord still needs me here.
To quote your favorite Billy Joel song
"keeping the faith"i'll be w/you again,
i'll remember that as i go along
cause i'm forced to wait till then!
