FOR ME
The sun is retreating for the night
Leaving behind an orange hued sky
I'm standing alone watching waves by the sea
But I know somewhere you are waiting for me.
I wish my life still had you around
To listen to the sound of waves crashing down
And watch them mingle with the ripples of the sea
I miss you and the way you care for me
Dark clouds shroud the skies tonight
Loneliness leaves me feeling weak inside
Without your love my life is incomplete
I just hope you're still waiting for me
The whole world seems cold asleep in the dark
Your thoughts have kept me awake with warmth in my heart
And with every memory it's easier to believe
That God and you will always be there for me.
