The Walrus Poem #468

The Walrus Poem

I think myself a walrus!
Do you suppose that's odd?
I mean, um, considering that I was made
to represent my God?

I think myself a walrus,
the kind that's in the zoo,
the one that, when you're looking in,
he's looking back at you!

I like his little mustache;
You know, I've got one too!

Right?

I think myself a walrus
when pictures people take …
Oh, yeah, I'm definitely walrus
and this is no mistake!

My parents are not walrus;
It's something I picked up …
I believe that I've been one of them
since I was just a pup.

I asked a toothless wombat once
and he just answered, "yup!"

Riiiiiight …

I'm probably not walrus,
but, still, it's in my head,
and, you know, it's really sad
we pick up on what's been said.

(Sorry, toothless wombat!)

I think myself a walrus!
Do you suppose that's odd?
I mean, um, considering that I was made
to represent my God!

God bless,
Lighthouse Bob
