Christ Is Superior
Hold on to your declaration,
For the faith is your salvation;
Backed by who is superior,
Since He is also your savior.
Such a superior chief priest,
I am able to say at least;
Who has gone up into Heaven,
Ensuring that love is given.
That is Jesus the Son of God,
To whom we give honor and laud;
Jesus Christ who is very wise,
And is able to sympathize.
He was tempted every way,
But never even try to stray;
Since He knows all our weakness,
He has assured us blessedness.
Because we are always so weak,
And go astray in ways to seek;
Even though He did never sin,
Christ knows we get depraved within.
So we go assured to the throne,
But not to be walking alone;
Because we do firmly believe,
The mercy of God we receive.
That will help us at the right time,
To be acquitted of the crime;
With no need for to hesitate,
For going through the narrow gate.
