Remembering by Song
It is certainly how one wonders about music
And how on us it most certainly has an effect
Because somewhere in our lives, at sometime along
A particular occasion can be recalled by a particular song.
Who could remember hard rock's musical situation
When some people though it loud and sound like confusion
And would think that it could only be appreciated by
Those whose intention was to get high
It could be dated back to the culture of the hippie
With that believe that there should be that free will
Where in places many can be seen assembling
Dispensing that medicine which the called free loving.
What a miracle one can see, when a person who is ill
On hearing a song, its effect was like a pill
With eyes lit up, on the face a beam so bright
This occasion was such a very wonderful sight.
It was also touching sitting with an aged person who reminisced
Recalling songs that bring back those moment of love and bliss
Then would speak in a voice that broke so uncontrollably
About the one that was a hit, when the love one departed eternally.
Music and those songs will always jolt the memory
Of moments and occasions that impacted quite significantly
But in life there will be also times that will be conversely
So of course there will be recall those missed opportunities.
