Life  Is  Non  Returnable

Like  sand, rushing  through  the  hourglass
Never  to  return, is  grains  of  life, good  or
Bad, that  every  soul  has  sewn

Perhaps  one  day, we'll  see  things  differently, when
Time  has  taught  us  much, perhaps  we'll  even
shed  a  tear, for  the  portion  lost  to  us

I  pray  instead  of  principals, always  having
Their  way, we  might  give  heed, to  a  small
Still  voice  that  bids, help  love  find  a  way

Silver  threads  sewn  into  each  head, lines
Drawn  upon  every  face, calloused  hands  have
Stories  to  tell, many  forever  left  unsaid

The  calendar  never  ceases, the  turning  of
It's  pages, some  never  stop  receiving
The  recompense, of  trespass  wages

I  pray  you're  never  placed, at  the  table  of  the  scorned, or  seated
In  the  chair  of  the  forgotten, nor  draw  from  the  well  of  self
Destruction, may  the  banner  of  Gods  love, forever  fly  above  you.
