Habitation of the Lord
O Lord You are our refuge,
Never do You ever refuse;
In giving us a helping hand,
No matter what it could demand.
You have made Your home the Most High,
But You are also always nigh;
And we never have any fear,
With knowing that You are still near.
No harm will ever come to You,
Since You are so able to view;
Everything that is around,
While hearing every sound.
No sickness can come near Your Home,
Nor anyone that is a foe;
For Your angels always defend,
Standing guard up onto the end.
You will always be there to protect,
Even though I sometimes neglect;
To show how much I really care,
With love I am willing to share.
Because You love me I will show,
Others of how much will flow;
I protect since You do know my name,
And with Your Word I will proclaim.
So when You call I will respond,
With Your help I will go beyond;
To save and honor from the strife,
And satisfy You with long life.
