Cloudy Days
Pondering throughout the times
Clouds played a part with you they bind
Grayer days, a needed drink
One for the road in thoughts you think
The sky backdrop above your head
Chanced conversation of heart has led
To moment now where quiet sits
Alongside you that never quits
Just like the clouds that come and go
At times with rain inside your soul
Gray color schemes paint without brush
The needs to speak in you now hush
Rain soon will follow the ambiance
Plays back that song that made two us
And like the clouds that pass above
Mindset becomes all we think of
A hint of sunlight like hair of gold
Peeks through at times that still have hold
A better you fulfilled by them
Chapters reread as time does lend
Rewrite the score that orchestrates
The melodies of love not hate
For here is where you found true peace
If given thought, when given least
So kiss the clouds as they pass by
Tell them to say it's not goodbye
Paint them of colors in voids of need
Needs not of want, but love believed
