Billy, God led you into my life...
Walked you right into my heart.
He had to have a reason...
I could sense it from the start.
I feel led to minister
A few words to you in verse.
He's already set the stage
Not leaving me time to rehearse.
So I have no earthly notion
What He's wanting me to write.
But if He'll supply each sentence
I'll display this on my site.
Billy, you were brought to earth
On assignment from above.
The plan called for a preacher
And the message called for love.
At times you feel you haven't done
All you were called to do.
But I'm compelled to tell you
God is more than pleased with you.
You're a man of deep convictions...
A man after God's own heart.
You uphold the name of Jesus ...
You don't sell the gospel short.
Life's held its disappointments...
You've gone through your times of tears.
But its held its happy moments
And its blessings through the years.
You'll wear a Crown of Righteousness!
Your name's in the Book of Life!
You're a faith dispensing father...
An inspiration to your wife!
Your accomplishments are noted...
Every seed you've planted scaled,
But your faith is what God measures
And in it you have prevailed.
These words of poetry are inspired...
They are Heaven's gift to you.
Billy Sipes, the Savior loves you
And this humble poet does, too.
Lovingly Presented

"Blessed is the man that walketh
not in the counsel of the unGodly,
nor standeth in the way of sinners,
nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful
But his delight is in the law of
the Lord, and in his law doth he
meditate day and night,
And he shall be like a tree planted
by the rivers of water, that bringeth
forth his fruit in his season, his
leaf also shall not wither, and
whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
Psalm 1:1-3
