Of Purpose
Read your write and felt compelled
To write for you and future tell
Not by my words but Him who spells
A new beginning to wish you well
Your purpose here beyond what ails
Your heart and soul body that sails
Today stricken by stroke, abuse that failed
Failed to steal your breath from here
From family, friends who love you dear
Though right now you don't see why
You lived through it and did not die
There is a Heaven that waits for you
But not right now as you have to
Live and see your way on through
Past your circumstances as I do too
In words your own do not condone
This setback stroke you're not alone
Be strong for you have work to do
Just pen away and you'll see too
Keep and hold to faith if all you have
Your smile today will bring the sad
To see much more of them in you
A young woman with writes that grew
You are a speck of light that keeps the dark
To find somewhere else to park
For breath of life today sustains
A new beginning as GOD ordained
Though I have never walked with you
Or held your hand Christ drew me to
To write this one, one more for LOVE
To say of purpose you are to Him above
