 once upon a time

Don’t daydream. How often did I hear those words?
Sit up straight. Stop looking out the window.
Why are you reading those comics?
You’ll never amount to anything.

All designed to stop you dreaming.
Those of us who dare to dream create.
Perhaps words on a page, maybe a painting,
They are conceived from dreaming.
We dream a dream then act out the reality by creating.
Do not stop looking out that window.
Sitting up straight, looking inwards, you create.

Imagination leads you down many a road.
Follow your dreams. Don’t let intellect be your guide.
You and I are on The road where myths and magic live side by side.
Follow your dreams to the end of time.
Dare to dream. Let your imagination run wild.
