A Praise to God
The Lord will arise,
His enemies scatter;
As they spread their lies,
Their teeth will chatter.
Blow away like smoke,
As the evil melt,
They begin to choke,
On the words they dealt.
Let righteous rejoice,
Celebrate with God;
So lift up your voice,
To honor and laud.
Let joy overflow,
Make music to praise;
Defeating all foe,
As your voices raise.
God has shed His grace,
Making this dwelling;
His own holy place,
His Son excelling.
Father to offspring,
Shield for a widow;
To the cross they cling,
Willing to follow.
God waters the sand,
With plenty of rain;
Making fertile land,
To prosper again.
