In The Tree
Way up high in the tree
It was right there
I thought oh no, this can't be
I looked and searched everywhere
It was right up there high in the tree
Among the lush green
Up in the tree for me to see
There it was waiting to be seen
The one and only all alone
High in the tree a golden leaf
Among the green it was home
I said this is beyond my belief
It just can't be
I'm not ready to see summer go
Life is so easy and free
But we all surely know
Cold winds will blow
Summer will pass on by
Rivers will swiftly flow
Like birds flying in the sky
Every season has it's own beauty
I'm not ready yet
Each season must go off duty
Like the sun rises and sets
Autumn will grace the land
Glory in the deep blue sea
It's all in the creator's hands
In the tree a golden leaf for me
