Fall Eternal

It was to be forever ours
Our home Rosewood and Eifel Tower
A place refuge with deck about
Surrounded by Pine trees, your house

Raking old leaves again of heart
The better me, the better part
Of things to come if I held to
The stronger part of us I knew

You edged and showed me how to cut the grass
Like kid I felt and at long last
I watched you from a distance near
Enough to see you sill held dear

A trek about a park near you
Ice cream melting in cups this too
Remind me of a fall I lived
How much we miss, how much I'd give

So close this day my eyes of Brown
With you inside this heart that found
That love but once does come around
As magic yours in me astounds

This fall eternal where leaves give me
A chance to dream of us once we
