Underground Battle
When Christ went to the highest place,
He gave unto all of us gifts;
Through His mercy as well as grace,
That motivates us and uplifts.
What does this mean that He went up?
Except that He had to go down;
For the rumors and the gossip,
Can just make a believer frown.
For Christ went to the lowest part,
Of the earth that is called hades;
Which will cause His action to thwart,
Satan and all his tragedies.
The one who went down went above,
To Heaven for gifts for His church;
And left them flow down in His love,
In using for the truth we search.
Their role is to prepare and serve,
Building up the body of Christ;
And enduring a stressful nerve,
For what needs to be sacrificed.
We continue till all unite,
On faith and knowledge of the Son;
When each of us have seen the light,
Then we know our job is done.
Be sure to open your ears and eyes,
Clever strategies lead you stray;
Satan could send angels in disguise,
Persuading you to disobey.
