Inside His house that grows in numbers
A peace is found nearly where slumber
Puts to rest with eyes wide open
Seeking truth from book His spoken
Scripture written before our time
Words spoken all His divine
Of bread partake and too the vine
Here branches stretch to home where sky
Is almost ours where good goodbyes
Brings comfort to what in us cries
A leap of faith served to what ties
If thought would cross your mind this day
The cross where hung the price He paid
Without ever meeting Him
He who took upon himself your sin
Would things be now as was before?
Or will new breath breathe in your core
The core that beats and also stores
The better you reborn who soars
Flights of life though turbulence
Will bring tests to your resilience
Here you came and sat to hear
The better part of fallen tears
You cried, you came and so did He
Rising as one is CHRIST in thee
All bets now off for faith replaced
The wayward child before His face
So listen well and free your mind
Of all things of no real time
As it is no coincidence
That you are here, before His presence
