Change of Heart

Dark heart filled with pride

Hardened stone

In someone rebellious- standing alone

Shameful sin is the stain

And weight so great-it can't be lifted

Devil's gain – this one's been sifted.

Until …God heard the cry and plea

Creating now a victory

Removing the stone

Making the change

A humble heart of flesh made new

Prepared now and ready

To serve Him with a steady

Strong, Spirit-filled faith.

Ezekiel 36:26 A new heart also will
I give you, and a new spirit will I
put within you: and I will take away
the stony heart out of your flesh,
and I will give you an heart of flesh.
