English countryside from a car window...
Pocketed - packaged
perfectly preened
edging and hedging
around all the green...
Trees at attention
saluting at sheep
gates guarding hay bales
that roll in their sleep...
Heather in meadows
swaying in breeze
smiling in purple
teasing the trees...
Rooftops peak even
slated and aged
sheen in the sunshine
all neatly arranged...
Matches of patches
straightened and curved
flash as we pass
all perfectly served...
