Northeast Vibes
At 5.8 just shy of 6
In magnitude it came and picked
The time, places instilling fear
A calling card on faces clear
Startled by shaking ground this day
Many dwellings and souls were swayed
Serving notice how things could change
In seconds flat life not the same
Though mercy spared what could have been
This close call has stayed within
The mindset of the moved by this
The fear instilled this too on list
Sign of the times, drawn out conclusions
Biblical or just illusions
Taking what's been inventoried
Mankinds rule thought as glory
Though some may say Chicken Little here
“The sky is falling” children dear
No humor can be found in this
I'd think hard twice maybe we missed
A chance to see how frail we are
How close we came and not so far
To what is real and soon to come
Prepare; for near is Gods Kingdom
In His name…..
