There are two types of believers...
The before and after kind.
A petition is presented...
A time of waiting is assigned.
Of course the prayer is answered!
At times it's instantly.
At other times one waits on God
And patience is the key.
The before the fact believer
Has no doubt that God has heard.
Although he doesn't see results,
He's standing on The Word!
Praise begins to fill his heart
Before the evidence is shown...
That he's happily rejoicing
In the Lord is clearly known.
The after the fact believer
Has to see proof of some kind.
His faith is not as positive...
Doubt has messed with his mind.
He celebrates after the fact
His show of faith is slow.
Although his praise is genuine
His faith in God must grow.
The Bible tells us God has dealt
To every man a measure.
We need to feed and water faith...
It's something we should treasure.
Without it it's impossible
To ever please the Lord.
Since faith can come by hearing
Preaching can be its reward.
Read The Word to build your faith...
Commit to a life of prayer.
Attend a Bible believing church...
Believe faith will find you there!

Mark 9:24 has always pulled at my heart
because I've been there. I'm sure many of
you have, too. We've all, in spite of great
faith in God, have experienced times when
our faith could have been stronger. Sometimes
I'm a before the fact believer and nothing
can move me! Other times I have to cry out,
Help, Thou, my unbelief. That's why, as
followers of Christ, we should be constantly
seeking God and ways to build our faith in
Him. It is said Faith moves the hands of God.
My hope is all who read this will be searching
for ways to move His hands...... "Whispers Of Worship"
