Road Menace
Sometimes we will hear of some being incapacitated
After being struck down by driver who was intoxicated
Drinking alcoholic beverage seems to be the only menace
That is still very much tolerated and has a legal place.
New drivers never seem to think for an instance
The potential threat they pose, due to their inexperience
And despite the education and how those in road safety plead
They seem no to pay any heed, of now driving at a high speed
Then there are those who has a great affinity for distraction
So even when driving other things seems to catch their attention
Therefore when anything happens that requires any form of quick action
This would most certainly place them in a very awkward position.
Some driver to a passenger will sometimes engage in a conversation
In so doing will use the hands in that act of gesticulation
Another driver may interpret this as a sort of hand signal
And by doing so, this may be proving in some cases fatal.
Time has brought changes and so there is also new technology
All incorporated and part of the vehicular gadgetry
Things like television, GPS and even computer all those attraction
But when driving; can then be considered a very dangerous distraction.
Some countries are now trying to curb this now familiar happening
People driving speedily and at the same time on the phone conversing
