Goodnight Irene: Part 2

My Backyard, August 28, 2011: Midnight and Early Morning

God in Heaven sees our plight
On this dark, dismal, devastating night.
Am I frightened?

There is a presence in this hushed room.
I hear the sounds, the music.
He is touching my soul
He speaks!
I am with you
You have been lost in dark valleys
And you have danced through shimmering clouds
You have smiled
And you have cried
You have been in ecstasy
And in pain
You have conquered other storms
And you will conquer THIS storm
You have given love
And now you are loved.
Tonight, sleep
Tomorrow, sunshine.

Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray the Lord my soul to keep
I will NOT die before I wake
Dear Lord, my soul is not ready for you to take.

Hello Irene, Welcome to New Jersey. We would request that U leave everything the way it was when U arrived . . . Thanks for the consideration :)
