From the Heart Through the Pen

Diamonds Through Coals II

All that glitters isn't gold
You never know
You might have found…

Beauty so sweet
A myth I considered Greek
You exude the very being of wonderful
You've got me walking on water
Though I wear shoes of concrete
Resuscitated this heart
Who knew it still had a beat

The shine was something I made up
What's it doing in reality
I'm living out my poems
How krazy is this
Forgot Diamonds Through Coals
Inspired You Through Beauty
Don't get caught up on the date history

Now a year and a half later
Those diamonds are in front of me
I'm loving every minute of it
My heart like your eyes; exhilarated
Déjà vu of the best kind
KB, if this is what it feels like
I'm okay with losing my mind

You sit there watching this flame burn bright
I'm here enjoying this lovely sight…You're silly (your voice)
Are you ready for your throne
I admire your strength
One of the many reasons you're beautiful
But it's time to realize you're not on your own
You've got my support, unconditional

Just a sec, before we visit your new home
I let my fingers caress your face
Pull you into my embrace
Our lips meet just as our eyes break their gaze
Our hearts speak; the conversation goes…
We definitely remember You Through Beauty
But how could we ever forget Diamonds Through Coals
